between the sun’s rays and the salty air
On this warm June weekend, we offer various experiences for a relaxing getaway kissed by the sun’s rays and salty air:
Hunting the treasures of the Argentario sea from Albinia by rubber dinghy
An excursion within the reach of young and old to discover a new way of getting to know and experiencing the sea together with Nello, a profound connoisseur of the Argentario seabed who still enjoys and marvels at diving in the area’s splendid coves.
With a powerful rubber dinghy, which can accommodate up to 20 people, you will reach the two stretches of sea with the most beautiful seabeds in this area: Cala Grande and Argentarola.
The latter for the variety and beauty of its seabed, visible to the naked eye, is compared to the seabed of the Red Sea.
Catamaran “Arrow of Giglio II” and the exclusive coves of Monte Argentario
The ideal excursion for sea lovers! The motor catamaran is a sort of playground of the sea, with the possibility of diving from every angle. It also has a sort of “Liana” where, like Tarzan, you can dive into the marvellous waters of the Argentario and its coves, almost all of which cannot be reached by land.
The boat is equipped with mask, fins, snorkel and a diving vest.
You can swim while exploring the marine life supported by the presence of the captain who will answer all your curiosities.
The House of Fishes, Underwater Museum
The House of Fishes is the brainchild of Paolo Fanciulli, an environmentalist fisherman from the Maremma.
The project aims to safeguard the marine environment by installing 100 marble bollards on the seabed, in the area encompassing the Maremma Park from Talamone to the mouth of the Ombrone River, to prevent illegal trawling, which damages the ecosystem. At present, 24 have been installed and another 15 are ready to be put in the sea.
Departure from the Albegna river in Albinia, with a second meeting point at the Port of Talamone and a visit to the museum at the water’s edge.
