At the end of October, the historic center of the town becomes the stage for a festival that engages everyone, young and old alike: from ancient games to culinary theater, masterclasses, open-air exhibitions and local “street food,” but above all the chance to taste and discover the outstanding quality of the wines from this corner of Tuscany.

Founded in 2006, Gustatus has remained true to its origins, aimed at enhancing the territory and its flavors beyond the summer beach season.

In the 2023 edition, there were VIP guests such as multi-award-winning bartender Bruno Vanzan, flair champion and innovative entrepreneur in the mixology sector, and chef Alessandro Martellini, originally from Orbetello and newly awarded a Michelin Star for his restaurant Suinsom at the Hotel Tyrol in Selva di Val Gardena (BZ). Over 90,000 visitors attended in just four days.

In the 2024 edition, Gustatus took place from October 31 to November 3 in Orbetello, featuring a rich program including tastings, live performances, music, street art, show cooking, wine masterclasses, insights into olive oil, children’s activities, and Halloween-themed shows.
The event introduced the “DeGustatus – Wine Salon,” a space dedicated to discovering local wines, where visitors can meet producers in a convivial setting and take part in guided tastings.
Important cultural activities were also included, such as “Gustatus at the Museum” with thematic exhibitions like “Etruria at the Table – At the Origins of Taste in Ancient Tuscany”, guided tours, and children’s workshops, offering an experience that goes beyond taste.
