The Caesar Venezia 2000 and Dripdrop: One Million Trees Planted with The Rain Forest Project

A major milestone for the hotel on Venice Lido, which together with Dripdrop is contributing to global reforestation and more sustainable tourism.

Every umbrella makes a difference!

The Caesar Venezia 2000, part of the Gitav group, is proud to announce an extraordinary achievement: thanks to its collaboration with Dripdrop and the international The Rain Forest Project, the milestone of one million trees planted worldwide has been reached.

The partnership began with the introduction of an innovative sustainable umbrella rental service, turning a simple everyday action into a tangible contribution to the fight against deforestation and to the support of local communities involved in reforestation projects.

Every use of a Dripdrop umbrella results in a new tree being planted, creating a positive environmental impact while promoting a more conscious and responsible approach to tourism.

A smiling person wearing a pink headscarf and blue T-shirt sits among leafy shrubs, holding branches. An overlay message thanks Venezia 2000 Lido Hotel for making rainy days brighter and celebrates: Together we planted 1,000,000 trees!

“For us, hospitality also means taking responsibility for the planet and its people,” says Francesco Francorsi, manager of Gruppo Estrela s.r.l., which operates many of The Caesar Hotels. “That is why we are delighted to contribute to a project that combines innovation, sustainability and social value.”

Through this initiative, The Caesar Venezia 2000 strengthens its commitment to environmental sustainability and confirms Gitav’s dedication to combining unique travel experiences with tangible actions that benefit local communities and the planet.
