Trekking in the Maremma Park

Intense fragrances and the call of animals

Trekking in the Maremma Park

The Maremma Park, with its range of hills descending towards the sea to reach the sandy beaches and cliffs, spreads from the mouth of the Ombrone river till it reaches Talamone, along 25 km of the breathtaking Tuscan coastline surrounded by marshland, pinewood forests, tilled land and pastures.

An opportunity to “reset the hands of the clock” and tune them to the times of the soul.

A path leads to a panoramic area called Punta del Corvo, offering a splendid view of the coast and some of the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.

Another path enters a thicket until it reaches a small rocky beach near the “Le Cannelle” tower. The route continues to the ridge in an area called “Apparita“.

Finally, a path leads to the “Grotta del Brigante Stoppa“, a natural ravine named after a brigand who was born and lived in the Talamone area.

Among the intense scents of aromatic herbs, colourful berries and animal calls, the Park welcomes the visitor showing its sweet and at the same time wild side.

A contrast of elements that awakens and releases the pleasure of feeling in a rediscovered paradise.
