in Maremma Toscana
The fresh, crisp autumn air, the landscapes that are tinged with new colors and the culinary delights that the woods offer us during this period are the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the authentic flavors and unique views of the Tuscan Maremma.
October is the ideal month for unforgettable experiences in this land full of events and happenings.
The mild and sunny climate of this season allows you to still enjoy the days at the seaside, while at sunset you move to the charming inland villages to enjoy typical dishes accompanied by a good glass of new wine.
This is also the period for the harvesting of mushrooms and chestnuts, the symbolic fruits of the Maremma. Monte Amiata, in particular, boasts a long tradition linked to the chestnut, so much so that it has been awarded IGP recognition for its quality.
In this riot of colors, flavors and sensations, the Tuscan Maremma comes alive with festivals, feasts and events organized by cultural associations, town committees and local governments, celebrating typical products, traditions and the joy of being together.
