Not far from there, in the Cannaregio district, stands Teatro Malibran, a more intimate yet equally charming venue. Frequented in the past by Carlo Goldoni and Mozart, it now hosts baroque operas, classical concerts, and rare productions.
Upcoming highlights include Ottone in villa in March and Enrico di Borgogna in June 2026.

Last but not least, Teatro Goldoni is the oldest active theatre in the city. It preserves the most authentic Venetian theatrical spirit, with plays in local dialect and performances that celebrate traditional culture.
For the 2025/26 season, notable shows include Il medico dei maiali (6–8 March 2026), Franciscus (20–22 March 2026), and November (17–19 April 2026).
