Europe’s first real suspended village
Gitav Consortium with Gitavillage le Marze present the European premiere of the Air Dream Suites.
The tree house concept is transformed into a village suspended in the branches, making the glamping experience unique, cradled by nature as never before.
20/08/2024 – In the evocative setting of Gitavillage Le Marze, Gitav Group’s En Plein Air holiday facility, the new and revolutionary Air Dream Suites were officially presented. These are tree-like platforms, interconnected and liveable at 360 degrees, where from 2025 it will be possible to stay, surrounded by green foliage of rare beauty and an uncontaminated starry sky.
From an idea by Cesare Francorsi (Gitav Group), inspired by the Shining Tree of the Ewoks legendary characters of the first Star Wars Trilogy, in the Tuscan Maremma – along one of Italy’s most evocative coastlines – the first real ‘houses suspended in the air among the trees’ in Europe have taken shape. In the Air Dream Suites, it will be possible to enjoy the comfort of modern structures and at the same time breathe in the magnificence of nature, walking in mid-air on the walkways that wind through the marvellous maritime pines of this area.
Why are they different from the others? Until now, the European village landscape had offered experiences in which high spaces are always thought of as static and accessible by stilts from below or resting on branches or platforms. The Air Dream Suites in contrast are suspended from a platform and truly floating.
The exclusive suites at Gitavillage Le Marze, as well as the games and adventure park suspended at various heights, have a system that is certified as one of the safest in the world.

General Information

The air dream suites consist of a mobile home of about 20m² (with double bed + single sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom and veranda) and a structure suspended under the pine forest, with a tree platform of about 3x3m that gives access, via a trapdoor and a small staircase, to a room of about 2x3m with a double bed.

They are all equipped with walkways (in some common sections), but each suite has a reserved space for the exclusive use of the individual reservation.

They are made entirely of recycled or recyclable materials such as wood, stainless steel, aluminium and canvas.

Pets are not allowed, for reasons of their unpredictability and safety.
Technical Information

The suspended chamber is approximately 5m high, and thanks to the steel bulkheads and cables, it remains firmly stable even in strong wind and/or rain.

In the ground structure there are windows in every room and air conditioning, while in the suspended structure there are two large windows with mosquito nets for optimal air circulation. Being completely under the pine forest, the suspended structures are never in direct sunlight.

For access and stay, security measures are those required by law and an insurance policy is in place in the event of a disaster, as is the case for every reservation in the village. All European regulations are respected.

Each suspended accommodation is approved for a maximum of 350 kg. For the best experience, we recommend a maximum of 2+1 persons.
