The dream of working in the hospitality industry is realised in Gitav Constellations.
The collaboration between Gitav and the Del Rosso – Da Verrazzano hotel management school in Orbetello this year includes the awarding of the scholarship “A new star in the hôtellerie” to the most deserving student.
The “Una nuova stella nell’hôtellerie” (A new star in the hotel industry) scholarship and the student initiatives confirm Gitav’s commitment to promoting young people and are part of an ambitious project aimed at creating a harmonious environment between staff and guests, enhancing the talents and creativity of each, while at the same time highlighting the special features and culture of each area.
“I believe in the constant search for harmony between innovation, growth and tradition, leaving as positive an imprint as possible on the people and territories that host us: Tuscany, Lazio and Veneto. We welcome them with a smile to work together, always with passion and commitment to our work,” says Gloria Francorsi, CEO of Consorzio Gitav.
“Continuous training in a path of growth… in order to be ready after high school graduation,” says Daniele Crisalli, Tourist Reception teacher and PCTO school tutor. “Internship experiences begin a training path that cannot be limited to the few weeks provided by the PCTOs, but should continue, prolonging the student’s training with ad hoc training contracts offered by host companies, so that at the end of their studies the student is ready for the world of work.
This is where we need to start! This is the only way that companies in our area will be able to include in their teams new resources and young people who are trained and ready to face their career path with greater awareness and self-esteem”.
