offering guests of our hotel The Caesar Venezia 2000, located within walking distance of the Venice International Film Festival Palace, the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable experience

Here, one can witness the jet set stars up close and attend screenings of the latest films. The organisers of the 81st Venice International Film Festival are creating great anticipation for the start of the festival, which will take place on the Lido on Wednesday 28 August with the opening ceremony and the screening of Tim Burton’s debut film ‘Beetlejuice’.

On the red carpet a stone’s throw away from us will be the director and the protagonists of the sequel, due to be released on 5 September: Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci… The Festival will end on 7 September with the presentation of the Golden Lion and other official awards. The closing film will be ‘L’orto americano’ by Pupi Avati.

For ten days, from 28 August to 7 September, the Lido will be transformed into the nerve centre of international cinema, with screenings, celebrities, red carpets, press conferences, parties and much more, attracting a vast and diverse audience. In addition to the films, there will also be masterclasses, unique occasions in which film icons talk about themselves.

This year, the masterclasses will be held in a new location, the Match Point Arena, located at the Venice Tennis Club, a short distance from our hotel.
